Washing Equipment Technologies, WET, is a division of Simoniz USA that sells, installs, and services factory-authorized PDQ car wash equipment installations in the Albany area.</p> <ul> <li>We offer an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, company-paid life, voluntary life, voluntary long-term disability, 401k, </li><li>Paid holidays, vacation, sick, and personal time. </li><li>Weekly payroll </li><li>Company Uniforms, as well as safety eyewear & boot program. </li><li>The company provided a vehicle, a laptop, and a cell phone. </li><li>Full online factory training program - technicians are trained on all aspects of the equipment, including installation, start-up, and ongoing maintenance. </li><li>In general, begin your day from your home location and report to the distribution facility only as needed. </li></ul> <p>Main Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>To provide personalized customer service, perform quality installation and service work on all vehicle wash equipment and accessories, including troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and mechanical problems. </li><li>Develop and maintain rapport with our customer base and partner with the customer to make beneficial recommendations regarding the technical maintenance of their state-of-the-art equipment. </li><li>Ensures all information is entered into the company computer system per training requirements </li><li>Daily travel in the service area is required. </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent </li><li>Technical school education is preferred </li><li>A minimum of 3 years of electrical experience </li><li>Strong verbal, interpersonal, and customer relation skills </li><li>Available to work overtime </li><li>Have a valid driver's license. </li><li>Car wash installation and service experience preferred </li><li>Complete required safety training, safely perform tasks, and follow safety policies. </li><li>Wear specified personal protective equipment as needed throughout the shift, which may include steel/composite toe work boots, safety glasses, and/or protective gloves. </li><li>Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with a diverse team. </li><li>Must be able to read, write, and speak English to follow written and verbal instructions/directions </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>Work near moving mechanical parts. </li><li>Exposure to fumes or airborne particles </li><li>May work in a humid environment </li><li>Moderate noise level from automobiles and other equipment </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>The ability to push and pull up to 75 lbs.; the ability to lift/carry up to 75 lbs. </li><li>Position requires standing, walking, bending, and frequent use of hands. </li><li>The position requires the ability to go up and down a ladder frequently. </li><li>Must be able to work at a sustained pace </li></ul> <p>Salary Description</p> <p>$23 - $28/hr</p>
