<p>JOIN OUR TEAM AND EXPERIENCE ENDLESS CAREER POSSIBILITIES</p> <p>IF YOU ARE AN EXISTING EMPLOYEE, PLEASE NAVIGATE TO THE INTERNAL JOB POSTING USING THIS LINK:</p> <p>https://www.myworkday.com/mohegan/d/inst/1$9925/9925$7993.htmld</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>This position is responsible for performing the load in, set-up, operation, load out and maintenance of all types of staging, rigging and other related equipment to be used for all entertainment events.</p> <p>Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for performing the load in, set-up, operation, load out and maintenance of all types of staging, rigging and other related equipment to be used for all entertainment events </li><li>Unloads trucks and sets-up and tears down touring production elements (i.e. builds stages, sets up boxing rings, sets-up basketball court, installs temporary ice rinks, etc.) </li><li>Performs both ground, high rigging, and R-1 events </li><li>Maintains, opens and closes elevated seating units in the arena </li><li>Builds scenic elements for Entertainment and Special Events departments </li><li>Inspects and maintains chain hoist inventory </li></ul> <p>Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Fabricates and repairs metal parts by welding </li><li>Drives vans and trucks up to 24 feet in length </li><li>Operates fork trucks and lift equipment </li><li>Assist with training programs </li><li>Assists with any and all entertainment production tasks, as needed </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Three years of experience working with theatrical staging and rigging equipment, including computer-based systems </li><li>Experience with rigging in an arena environment </li><li>Must be able to work at 60' or more as a high rigger and operate equipment at 60' or more. </li><li>Experience in theatrical carpentry </li></ul> <p>Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:</p> <ul> <li>Good communication skills </li><li>Good organizational and multi-tasking skills </li><li>Knowledge of AutoCAD software </li><li>Create rigging plots with CAD software and Vector works. </li></ul> <p>Training Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledgeable in the operation of professional rigging equipment </li><li>Must be certified in the operation of fork trucks, motorized pallet jacks, scissor lifts and boom lifts </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend and climb for extended periods of time </li><li>Must be able to lift and move all necessary equipment up to 75 lbs. </li><li>Must be able to work at heights greater than 60' </li><li>Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions </li><li>Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hour. </li></ul> <p>This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with this job.
