<p>Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>If interested in the job, please click "Notify District I'm Interested" at the top right corner of the screen" </li></ul> <p>Systems Administrator</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>As a senior-level role at Twin Lakes Tech, the Systems Administrator is responsible for the health, security, and performance of client networks. This includes conducting regular audits, managing vendors, and ensuring robust security measures are in place across all contracts. The administrator handles day-to-day network issues, participates in the procurement process, and provides escalation support for Level 2 techs and Virtual Office Specialists. They also collaborate in leadership and customer meetings, consulting with the Director on critical updates and issues.</p> <p>Skills & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Deep knowledge of Twin Lakes Tech procedures and processes. </li><li>Expertise in hardware, software, and networking systems, including troubleshooting. </li><li>Proficient in Google Suite, Office 365, CJIS Online, Azure, and Municipal Apps. </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on professionalism and transparency. </li><li>Familiarity with K-12 and municipal network setups. </li><li>Flexible availability for on-site work as needed. </li><li>High attention to detail and timeliness. </li><li>Experience with Zendesk and system administration projects. </li></ul> <p>Core Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the escalation point for high-level technical issues across all teams. </li><li>Install, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VoIP, and wireless infrastructures. </li><li>Manage server performance, including Active Directory health, DNS, DHCP, and Google Admin. </li><li>Conduct regular security audits and enforce best practices for network protection. </li><li>Lead collaboration with third-party vendors to resolve technical challenges. </li><li>Support data backups, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades. </li><li>Document and test web-filter settings to ensure user protection. </li><li>Play a key role in major projects, including network upgrades, vulnerability assessments, and opportunity assessments. </li></ul> <p>Impact:</p> <ul> <li>Proactively mitigate risks to ensure consistent, secure network operations. </li><li>Provide a clear escalation path for complex technical challenges. </li><li>Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing. </li><li>Enhance Twin Lakes Tech's ability to deliver compliant, high-quality IT services. </li></ul> <p>Leadership & Influence:</p> <ul> <li>Foster team growth through mentoring and constructive feedback. </li><li>Actively contribute to internal and client-facing collaboration. </li><li>Expand team knowledge while continuing personal skill development. </li></ul> <p>Certifications Required:</p> <ul> <li>Google Workspace Admin (Udemy) </li><li>Microsoft 365 Administration with hands-on simulations (Udemy) </li><li>CompTIA Network+ or equivalent </li><li>CJIS Security Awareness </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. </li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in help desk or networking roles. </li></ul> <p>Physical & Background Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Light physical demands, including lifting up to 20 lbs. occasionally. </li><li>Requires the ability to concentrate visually, use moderate coordination, and communicate effectively in English. </li><li>Candidates must pass pre-employment background checks, including motor vehicle records, DOT certification, drug testing, and credit checks (based on job requirements). </li></ul> <p>Salary: $70,000 - $90,000</p> <p>At Twin Lakes Tech, we are committed to delivering exceptional IT services tailored to the unique needs of schools and municipalities.
