<p>Summary</p> <p>Serve as a clinical, quality, evidence-based practice and patient safety expert. Develop</p> <p>caregivers in specific clinical areas in collaboration with clinical leaders. Drive nursing quality</p> <p>indicators and evidence-based practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes.</p> <ul> <li>Partner with clinical leaders to serve as a resource and supports caregivers to improve outcomes. Assist in identifying opportunities to improve quality and safety outcomes. </li><li>Collaborate with clinical leaders and clinical professional development in identifying gaps and developing plans to improve professional growth, skills and competencies. </li><li>Support clinical leaders in aggregating and interpreting various quality/patient safety data with a focus on using data to drive improved care outcomes and nursing practice. </li><li>Guide the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects, including the revision of order sets and practice guidelines at the unit or division level. </li><li>Aide in the analysis of research outcomes and devises strategies for their incorporation into evidence-based clinical practice guidelines. </li><li>Conduct unit rounds with a focus on coaching and mentoring in partnership with clinical leadership. </li></ul> <p>Required Credential(s):</p> <ul> <li>BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Red Cross or American Heart Association accepted. </li><li>Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing required. </li></ul> <p>Work Experience:</p> <ul> <li>2 years applicable experience required. </li><li>5 years preferred. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <ul> <li>Preceptor experience is strongly preferred </li><li>Med Surg experience is preferred </li><li>Tele experience is preferred </li></ul>
