<p>Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in achieving our organizational goals by supporting the manufacturing floor and managing customer returns. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills who can manage multiple tasks and priorities daily while maintaining a solid attendance record.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Facilitate communication with procurement when an inventory purchase is needed. </li><li>Own communication requirements between the Inventory team, Production, and Purchasing. </li><li>Coordinate, document, and execute cycle counts according to the schedule. </li><li>Research history for all inventory adjustments before processing transactions, particularly outside of normal cycle counts, such as negative inventory adjustments. </li><li>Provide guidance to material handling team members in support of Inventory Management directives. </li><li>Ensure materials are placed in appropriate bin locations and conduct frequent audits. </li><li>Manage the organization and flow of materials within the building and the warehouse. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience with inventory control, cycle counts, and data entry. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. </li><li>Ability to work autonomously with limited guidance. </li><li>2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Proven ability to manage assigned hours plus overtime as needed. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The role involves working in a manufacturing setting where you will engage with various teams. You will use standard office software and tools to perform your tasks.
