<p>AEA requests (internal applications) will be accepted online until 2:00 pm on 4/3/2025</p> <p>NOTE: The number of positions will be determined by student enrollment.</p> <p>Compensation: $25 per hour in accordance with the AEA CBA</p> <p>Meeting: Potential after-school meeting before school is out</p> <p>Program Training: One (1) day during the week of May 26, 8am-3pm</p> <p>Program Runs: June 2 through June 27 from 7:45 am - 1:30 pm (no school on June 19)</p> <p>Program Overview: May include up to four (4) hours of direct instruction per day</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Appropriate and valid Ohio Teaching License:</p> </li><li> <p>Education of the Handicapped (K-12)</p> </li><li> <p>Intervention Specialist (K-12)</p> </li><li> <p>Staff members currently teaching in grade level and area preferred</p> </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities and Expectations:</p> <ul> <li>Perform all duties/responsibilities in accordance with Austintown Local School District Policy and Procedures </li><li>Follow and execute the Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession </li><li>Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Summer School Principal, Building Principal, Director of Curriculum, and/or Superintendent </li></ul> <p>Requirements: The following are required prior to starting the assignment</p> <ul> <li>Appropriate and valid Ohio teaching credential </li><li>Current favorable State and Federal background checks </li><li>Official Sealed Transcripts </li><li>Negative drug screen </li></ul> <p>Employees must follow all board policies, all state, and federal laws, and adhere to the Ohio Code of Ethics set up by the Ohio Department of Education.
