<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Assists the program manager with all aspects of the development and management of projects within the assigned programs and provide engineering support. Prepares project/program monthly updates, cost estimates, P2S requests, and correspondence (CTS and others). Manages project funding and budgets, including expenditures for projects for compliance with budget through completion of construction. Conducts project scoping, field reviews, and project meetings with essential personnel. Conducts Design Field Review (DFR). Conducts public meetings, as well as prepares and delivers presentations to county and civic organizations. Develops and manages project schedules, recommends strategies, and plans to ensure schedules are met. Prepares consultant contract negotiations and development. Performs other related duties as assigned.</p> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Science and Management and four (4) years of engineering or construction management work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence. A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required.</p> <p>The physical demands for the essential functions involves sitting or standing at a desk for extended periods of time. This position may require occasional travel. May require bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, climbing, balancing, and kneeling. Walking for extended periods, treading rough terrain, working in close proximity to motoring traffic, and in natural environmental hazards.
