<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Provides financial leadership and operational support for Trinity Information Services (TIS).</p> <ul> <li>Leads a team of financial professionals and ensures effective processes for capital and operating budgets, </li></ul> <p>variance analysis, and financial reporting.</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to ensure </li></ul> <p>accuracy, compliance, and alignment with standards.</p> <ul> <li>Accountable for long range financial planning, capital planning, and operating budget development, </li></ul> <p>complex generally accepted accounting standards, forecasting and modeling of complex business cases for</p> <p>governance and executive leadership.</p> <ul> <li>Leads the development of the annual operating budget including complex allocation models and budgeting </li></ul> <p>for the annual financial value of approved projects.</p> <ul> <li>Verifies the integrity of the operating and capital results by measuring, projecting and analyzing variances </li></ul> <p>from budget and recommending appropriate action to TIS leadership.</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of models and templates used in </li></ul> <p>capital and operating budgets and forecasting efforts.</p> <ul> <li>Monitors capital spending and reviews financial analysis and results for the Project Accounting system used </li></ul> <p>by TIS.</p> <ul> <li>In alignment with the VP of Financial Operations, provides direction to Ministry CFOs on capital spending </li></ul> <p>and GAAP treatment and consultation related to capital requirements and ROI models.</p> <ul> <li>Communicates financial results, forecasts and issues leaders and develops action plans and contingency </li></ul> <p>plans to achieve budgeted results.</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for developing and presenting continuing financial education for directors and managers, </li></ul> <p>including development of class content and presentation of materials in class and small group settings.</p> <ul> <li>Leads and participates in projects or initiatives spanning the broader financial operations function. </li></ul> <p>Accountable for leading, guiding, and directing the Trinity Health regional area functional responsibilities. Enable regional level strategy to address internal or external business & regulatory issues; provide functional expertise and ensure fulfillment of performance and service standards. Responsible for consistent operating performance and achieving financial goals. Identifies, defines & solves complex problems that impact the management & direction of the business; Collaborate with Service Area, Regions, and Health Ministries to ensure consistency and integration of strategy and operations. Maintaining awareness of new industry developments and standards. system-wide strategy development and deployment of functional area priorities and initiatives</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for supporting regional efforts to comply with functional area priorities</p> </li><li> <p>Accountable for the selection, evaluation, and overall success of the functional leadership teams</p> </li><li> <p>Organization-wide focal point for establishing functional strategies and governance over financials and staffing</p> </li><li> <p>Accountable for communication between Service Area function, RHM, and Markets leader</p> </li></ul> <p>Operational Delivery</p> <ul> <li> <p>Implement and drive the financial strategies for the service area</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for measuring and reporting KPIs/metrics and value delivery</p> </li><li> <p>Providing advice, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance, or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Seven (7) to Ten (10) years experience in financial management with progressively increasing responsibility. </li></ul> <p>Additional Qualifications (nice to have)</p> <ul> <li>A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferred. </li><li>Multi-hospital experience is strongly preferred with experience in working in a complex delivery system. </li><li>Five (5) years' experience as a director in a hospital setting at a multi-site, complex healthcare organization. </li></ul> <p>Hourly Salary Range: $67.56 - $111.47</p> <p>The above statements provide a representative description of the nature & level of work being
