<p>The Standard Container Program Manager is responsible for all standard packaging for new model launches and mid-cycle actions. This position is also responsible for overseeing container fill and standard container improvements for their respective plants.</p> <p>The program manager is responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Managing and supporting Tier 1 project management services who work as liaisons between the suppliers and Stellantis on packaging design, development and delivery of standard containers to the supply base </li><li>Maintaining packaging launch KPIs </li><li>Validating 198/092 requests for reimbursement of expendable packaging </li><li>Interacting and engaging with cross-functional teams (Product, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, Supply Base, Safety, Quality, etc.) to ensure packaging meets the requirements of each functional group </li><li>Ensuring that the highest densities possible are reached while maintaining part quality in transit </li><li>Creating new and improved standards and best practices </li><li>Participating in global teams dedicated to the design and density process </li><li>Participate in continuous improvement activities related to packaging improvement </li></ul> <p>KPIs:</p> <ul> <li>Baseline packaging plans established on time </li><li>Supplier packaging plans approved by plant launch team on time </li><li>Pilot containers delivered on time </li><li>Production containers delivered on time </li><li>Packaging is validated on time for the key milestones </li><li>Annual packaging improvement savings </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business or engineering or related field </li><li>Minimum five years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain </li><li>Demonstrated ability to solve complex issues as well as manage through all aspects of the daily business, including escalation and communication as required </li><li>Ability to implement, sustain, and improve new or existing specialized packaging build processes </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in business or engineering or related field </li></ul>
