<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Join LEARN as a Student Support Services (SSS) Staffing Specialist!</p> <p>LEARN, Southeastern Connecticut's Regional Educational Service Center, is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to join our team as a Student Support Services (SSS) Staffing Specialist. If you're passionate about supporting educational excellence and thrive in dynamic environments, we invite you to apply!</p> <p>About the Role: As the SSS Staffing Specialist, you'll play a vital part in shaping the future of student support services by managing the logistics of hiring and onboarding exceptional staff. You'll work closely with LEARN Human Resources, ensuring smooth and efficient processes from recruitment to onboarding, and contribute to the ongoing success of our programs.</p> <p>Why LEARN?</p> <ul> <li>Be part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to educational excellence. </li><li>Collaborate with supportive colleagues and leaders. </li><li>Grow professionally through ongoing learning and networking opportunities. </li><li>Make a meaningful impact in Southeastern Connecticut's schools. </li><li>Paid time off, 4% retirement contribution, referral bonuses. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate all aspects of SSS hiring, including preparing job postings, monitoring candidate platforms, and maintaining tracking systems. </li><li>Independently implement organizational and procedural systems to optimize department operations. </li><li>Prepare and analyze data for federal, state, and agency reports, supporting informed decision-making. </li><li>Complete special projects, conduct research, and organize information to clarify objectives and drive results. </li><li>Communicate effectively with staff, candidates, and the public, representing SSS at job fairs and recruitment events. </li><li>Maintain and report statistical information on SSS personnel, assisting with compliance and agency reporting. </li><li>Collaborate on policy updates and share documentation related to workers' compensation. </li><li>Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current in HR practices. </li><li>Support SSS office staff with related duties such as time and attendance tracking. </li><li>Perform other tasks as assigned by the Deputy Executive Director. </li></ul> <p>Who We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree or equivalent experience. </li><li>General office experience and strong organizational skills. </li><li>Effective interpersonal and writing skills. </li><li>Human Resources experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Ready to make a difference?
