Completes tasks as assigned or assists with creating an alternative option to ensure work is complete.</p> </li><li> <p>Work which rarely produces a high level of mental/visual fatigue, i.e., less than 20 percent of the work time.</p> </li><li> <p>The job produces some physical demands. Typical of jobs that include regular walking, standing, stooping, bending, sitting, and some lifting of light weigh objects</p> </li></ul> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>Forensic Interviewing</p> <ul> <li> <p>Conduct forensic interviews with children using evidence-based, developmentally appropriate, and culturally responsive practices consistent with the Michigan Forensic Interview Protocol and National Children's Alliance Standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Modify interviewing approaches to meet the developmental, emotional, and cultural needs of each child.</p> </li><li> <p>Capable of collaborating with ASL and interpretation service providers, while conducting interviews.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in pre- and post-interview case discussions with caregivers and MDT partners as directed.</p> </li><li> <p>Use technology to record interviews and transfer the video to a DVD.</p> </li><li> <p>Observe and provide peer review on forensic interviews when not assigned as the interviewer.</p> </li></ul> <p>Scheduling & Case Coordination</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist with scheduling forensic interviews in coordination with the family, CAC staff, and MDT partners.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate scheduling information in a timely and professional manner, to ensure a timely and coordinated investigative response.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the coordination of interview schedules, case reviews, and related activities to promote MDT collaboration.</p> </li></ul> <p>Case Review & MDT Support</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist with identifying cases for discussion at Case Review Meetings.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and organize materials for Case Review Meetings, including case summaries and relevant documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in Case Review Meetings as assigned, and support follow-up documentation as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Case Documentation & Records Management</p> <ul> <li> <p>Establish and maintain a confidential file for each client at the time of the initial forensic interview.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain complete, accurate, and timely forensic interview notes and case documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure case files are complete and organized when subpoenaed or requested by authorized agencies.</p> </li><li> <p>Protect client privacy and confidentiality in compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and organizational policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Obtain and document case dispositions through communication with partner agencies, as available.</p> </li></ul> <p>Court & Legal Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Prepare for testimony by reviewing interview documentation and case files as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Testify in court proceedings when subpoenaed or requested.</p> </li><li> <p>Have flexibility with schedule, as subpoenas may require court testimony on days outside of workdays (can adjust SAS schedule accordingly).</p> </li></ul> <p>Professional Development & Quality Improvement</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain proficiency in forensic interviewing through ongoing education related to child development, trauma, and assessment.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in forensic interview debriefings, peer review, and quality assurance activities in accordance with NCA Standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Stay informed of current best practices and emerging research in the field of forensic interviewing.</p> </li></ul> <p>Organizational & Team Participation</p> <ul> <li> <p>Participate in required organizational meetings, staff huddles, staff meetings, and training.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain effective working relationships with MDT partners and internal team members.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate professionalism and collaboration in all internal and external interactions.</p> </li><li> <p>Professional Conduct & Compliance</p> </li><li> <p>Represent the organization in a professional manner consistent with its mission, values, and customer service standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Treats other partners with respect and professionalism, even at times when the team may disagree.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain working knowledge of applicable laws, ethical standards, and organizational policies and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Adhere to all safety requirements and maintain a safe, respectful work environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other related duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Shift</p> <p>First Shift</p> <p>Time Type</p> <p>Part time</p> <p>Scheduled Weekly Hours</p> <p>24</p> <p>Cost Center</p> <p>8564 Sass (BBC)</p> <p>Agency Use Policy and Agency Submittal Disclaimer</p> <p>Bronson Healthcare Group and its affiliates ("Bronson") strictly prohibit the acceptance of unsolicited resumes from individual recruiters or third-party recruiting agencies ("Recruiters") in response to job postings or word of mouth.
