<p>Overview</p> <p>Assistant Residence Director</p> <p>Pay: $23.00/hour</p> <p>Sign-on Bonus: $2,500</p> <p>Seven Hills Rhode Island is seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Residence Director to support the daily operations of residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role combines direct care, staff leadership, and program coordination to ensure a safe, respectful, and person-centered living environment.</p> <p>The Assistant Residence Director plays a key leadership role within the residence, providing hands-on support to individuals while assisting with staff supervision, scheduling, and program operations. This position works closely with the Residential Director and serves as a leader and role model for Direct Support Professionals, ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and meaningful community engagement for all participants.</p> <p>About Seven Hills Rhode Island</p> <p>Seven Hills Rhode Island is a leading health and human services organization supporting more than 1,000 individuals across the state. With over 60 years of experience, we provide person-centered, community-based services that empower individuals to lead meaningful and independent lives.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate professional looking to grow into a leadership role while making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Direct Support & Participant Care</p> <ul> <li>Provide direct care and support to individuals, modeling best practices for staff </li><li>Promote independence, dignity, and respect in all aspects of daily living </li><li>Assist individuals in developing life skills, social connections, and community involvement </li><li>Support implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs), behavior plans, and health care plans </li><li>Accompany individuals to appointments and assist with medication administration as required </li></ul> <p>Program Operations & Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Assist in overseeing daily operations of the residence, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment </li><li>Support scheduling of staff and monitoring of staffing levels and budgets </li><li>Ensure meaningful planning and execution of social and community activities </li><li>Maintain accurate documentation, including data collection, progress notes, and service records </li><li>Monitor compliance with agency policies, state regulations, and licensing requirements </li></ul> <p>Staff Leadership & Development</p> <ul> <li>Assist in supervising, training, and coaching staff </li><li>Serve as a team leader, promoting collaboration, accountability, and positive communication </li><li>Provide guidance on implementing support strategies and proper documentation practices </li><li>Support staff development and ensure required certifications and trainings are maintained </li></ul> <p>Health, Safety & Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Promote the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of individuals served </li><li>Respond effectively to emergencies and safety concerns </li><li>Ensure adherence to Human Rights regulations, HIPAA standards, and safety protocols </li><li>Participate in incident review processes and on-call responsibilities as assigned </li></ul> <p>Financial & Administrative Support</p> <ul> <li>Assist in managing participant funds and household budgets </li><li>Ensure accurate reconciliation and documentation of billable services </li><li>Support coordination of household needs, including supplies and maintenance </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>1-3 years of experience in human services or a related field </li><li>Valid Class C or Class D driver's license </li><li>CPR and First Aid certification required </li><li>Ability to work flexible hours, including participation in on-call responsibilities </li></ul>
