Your expertise will help reduce costs, enhance supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with safety and procurement standards-supporting the success of our mining operations.</p> <p>As Part of Our Team, You Will</p> <ul> <li>Execute regional strategies for assigned sub-categories aligned with global objectives </li><li>Build and manage supplier relationships focused on performance and innovation </li><li>Lead sourcing, negotiation, and contract management processes </li><li>Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage risks in supply chain operations </li><li>Monitor supplier performance, ensure compliance, and report on key KPIs </li><li>Ensure contractor alignment with mine safety standards </li><li>Collaborate with teams across LATAC, global supply chain, and finance </li></ul> <p>Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field </li><li>5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or category management </li><li>Background in mining, oil & gas, or industrial/manufacturing environments </li><li>Strong understanding of procurement processes, cost control, and compliance </li><li>Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems and contract management tools </li><li>Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills </li><li>Willingness to travel internationally as needed </li></ul> <p>Your Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>This role is based in Denver, Colorado, with regular collaboration across time zones and potential travel to mine sites in Latin America. </li><li>You'll engage with regional operations, global supply chain teams, and key business stakeholders in a fast-paced and impact-driven environment. </li></ul> <p>Why Join Newmont</p> <p>At Newmont, we're committed to sustainable mining and investing in our people. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate's salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.</p> <p>This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.</p> <p>Newmont offers a competitive and inclusive benefits package to support physical, mental, financial and emotional wellbeing.
