<p>Creola, AL | OTHER</p> <p>G.A. West & Co., Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for our Creola, AL office. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity. This is not a remote role and does require reporting to our office location. Monday - Friday schedule. More details below:</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records </li><li>Provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization </li><li>Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables </li><li>Ensure the accuracy of an organization's financial documents for payment, auditing and tax purposes </li><li>Protect businesses against unintentional overpayment </li><li>Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner </li><li>Communicate with vendors and maintain vendor records </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma is required </li><li>Must have 2-3 years of experience with accounts payable </li><li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with Excel </li><li>Strong time management and organizational skills </li><li>Detail oriented </li><li>Must have effective communication skills both verbal and written </li></ul> <p>Team player</p> <p>G.A.
