<p>Position Summary</p> <p>In this position, you will play an important role in project development which will potentially have a statewide impact. You will serve as an IT testing coordinator for BFS which includes conducting software application and systems testing and identifying and training testing resources for all Registration and Titling, including OnBase. You will help develop and maintain BFS policies, procedures, and processes. Other duties you will perform include:</p> <ul> <li>Bridging the technology (vendor) and the people using it to ensure systems are tested, ready, and supported </li><li>Supporting multiple applications across DMV </li><li>Working closely with the other bureaus and BITS in testing and training needs for staff </li><li>Working in the future of DMV instead of the present </li><li>Researching and resolving system issues </li><li>Creating technical articles and training that help end users navigate new and existing applications including new hardware/software </li></ul> <p>This position will be filled at the Motor Vehicle Program Specialist - Senior or Motor Vehicle Program Specialist - Advanced level, depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>At the Motor Vehicle Program Specialist - Senior level, the schedule-range is 07-04 with an annual salary of $60,320-$70,720, plus excellent benefits.</p> <p>At the Motor Vehicle Program Specialist - Advanced level, the schedule-range is 07-03 with an annual salary of $64,480-$74,880, plus excellent benefits.</p> <p>Pay will be determined based on the qualifications of the selected candidate at the time of hire.</p> <p>A twelve month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>This state agency does not sponsor work visas. This state agency is not enrolled in USCIS E-Verify and is not eligible to employ international F-1 students seeking STEM-OPT extension. Any appointment made will be contingent on the applicant being able to prove valid status to work in the United States.</p> <p>Prior to any appointments for position(s) filled from this announcement, candidates may be subject to a comprehensive criminal background check which may include FBI fingerprinting.</p> <p>The level of this position and salary will be determined based on the qualifications of the selected candidate at the time of hire.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Qualified applicants will have all the following:</p> <ul> <li>Experience leading a project or program. Activities may include delegating project tasks to team members, assigning deadlines, ensuring completion of tasks, creating training plans, etc. </li><li>Experience serving as a business area expert interpreting, analyzing, and/or proposing policy and procedures </li><li>Experience applying statutes related to vehicle titling and registration </li></ul> <p>In addition to having all the above, well qualified applicants will have one or more of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Experience managing a project. Activities may include identifying the purpose and/or scope of the project, identifying and obtaining resources for project, providing updates to management/business partners, etc. </li><li>Experience creating training materials for online learning </li><li>Experiencing developing and implementing IT testing policies, scripts, schedules and plans </li><li>Experience applying statutes related to drivers' licenses and ID cards </li></ul> <p>Additionally, at the Motor Vehicle Program Specialist - Advanced level, qualified applicants will have all the following:</p> <ul> <li>Experience authenticating and verifying documents used to transfer titles and registration using online resources. Document authentication is completed through visual inspection as well as through sample documents found in national data bases, etc. </li><li>Experience leading a team in two or more projects, programs, or assignments concurrently. </li><li>Experience working with third party vendors to test and integrate IT applications in multiple environments such as User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Education and Production. </li></ul> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>Apply online!
