Apply now!</p> <p>Role: Lead Teacher</p> <p>Age Group: Toddlers, 2 year olds - 3 year olds (Preschool)</p> <p>Hours: Full Time</p> <p>Pay: $21 - $23 per hour</p> <p>Role Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for young children to learn, play and grow. </li><li>Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with the children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child. </li><li>Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn. </li><li>Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions. </li><li>Support our school's success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement. </li><li>Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Twelve (12) Early Childhood Education (ECE) college units preferred. At least SIX (6) ECE college units REQUIRED. </li><li>Infant/Toddler class a plus! </li><li>CPR/First Aid Certified (can enroll upon hire) </li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age </li><li>Be of good character and reputation </li><li>Be of sufficient physical, mental and emotional health to perform job duties satisfactorily </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, stand 95% of the day, stoop/bend down to a child's level, as well as perform all other typical physical activity required while caring for young children </li><li>Possess skills, attributes and characteristics conducive to and suitable for dealing with children </li><li>Must speak English well enough to communicate with children, staff, management and parents </li><li>Must be able to read and write English well enough to prepare, complete and maintain administrative forms and records as required by current governmental regulations and company policies and procedures </li><li>Satisfy the mandatory physical and background checks as required by State and company regulations and policies </li><li>Must have reliable transportation </li><li>Willing to attend staff/parent events and complete training classes as required by State regulations </li></ul> <p>Please reply to this post with your resume and ECE transcripts, or apply in person at 749 N Wendy Drive in Newbury Park.</p> <p>We look forward to meeting you!</p>
