<p>B&W is looking for a Designer. This position will be responsible for a wide range of drafting and design support including AutoCAD electrical panel and plate wiring drawings, AutoCAD mechanical drawings, and AutoCAD inventor part modeling.</p> <p>This position will be responsible for:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Creating/modifying drawings of control system enclosures, including wiring of the panels, interconnecting wiring drawings, and physical layout of control panel plates and enclosures using AutoCAD Electrical and AutoCAD Mechanical</p> </li><li> <p>The ideal candidate will be able to select the appropriate electrical parts based on a base understanding of electrical circuits</p> </li><li> <p>Creating/modifying 3-D models of equipment components using AutoCAD Inventor</p> </li><li> <p>The ideal candidate will understand the impact part changes have on other phases of production and proactively work with those involved in those phases</p> </li><li> <p>Creating/modifying other 2-D drawings in AutoCAD Mechanical for required product changes</p> </li><li> <p>Loading of parts and assemblies into our ERP system, Oracle</p> </li><li> <p>Detailed checking of drawings completed by other designers/drafters/engineers</p> </li><li> <p>Working with Purchasing to find replacements for obsolete or long lead parts</p> </li><li> <p>Working with Engineers to ensure product design requirements are met</p> </li><li> <p>Working with Project Managers to ensure customer specs are met</p> </li><li> <p>Working with Operations to ensure designed parts are buildable</p> </li><li> <p>Technical degree, vocational program, or equivalent experience in a technical field</p> </li><li> <p>A motivated, detail oriented, team player who wants to get things done and maintain high levels of quality in the work they complete</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work and communicate with all members of the organization</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer relationship skills</p> </li><li> <p>AutoCAD experience</p> </li></ul>
