This includes evaluating, designing, developing, and testing reports for payroll, benefits, time tracking, compensation, talent, performance, and recruiting. Provide guidance and mentor junior level report writers.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.</p> <ol> <li> <p>Consult with internal clients, up to and including senior management, to understand report requirements, then design, develop, and deliver complex Workday reports and/or dashboards to satisfy the need. Consultation may be for one-off requests or project-related.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain expert knowledge of HR data and database structures, and applies knowledge of the business to customize reports and deliver meaningful information.</p> </li><li> <p>Review reports to identify data integrity issues and provides feedback to application/database administrators to ensure any issues are addressed.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with all internal and external policies and procedures and data governance.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as the point of contact for all regulatory reporting requests. Serve as the data and reporting subject matter expert in various projects, including planning and execution activities; may be responsible for a project workstream from start to finish.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide formal and/or informal guidance to new and/or less experienced teammates.</p> </li><li> <p>Execute data and report validations to support ongoing quality assurance processes.</p> </li></ol> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <p>The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <ol> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in information systems/technology, computer science, or related field, or equivalent education and experience</p> </li><li> <p>5 years of Workday experience and three years of Workday report writing experience</p> </li><li> <p>In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the professional discipline (e.g., Information Technology, Project Management, Finance, and Risk Management)</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of foundational concepts of other related professional disciplines</p> </li><li> <p>Experience managing small projects</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to manage competing priorities</p> </li></ol> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Workday certifications in any of the following areas: HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Security, Performance/Talent, Compensation, Recruiting, or Reporting</p> </li><li> <p>Master's degree in Business or related field</p> </li><li> <p>6 years of related experience</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience in the banking industry</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience in Human Resources</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working in an Agile environment</p> </li></ol> <p>OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS</p> <p>Sitting / Standing / Walking / Bending / Lifting</p> <p>Able to sit for extended periods of time and periodically move about during the work day.</p> <p>Visual / Audio / Speaking</p> <p>Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and be able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone</p> <p>Manual Dexterity / Keyboarding</p> <p>Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers.</p> <p>Mental</p> <p>Able to focus, interpret information logically to solve problems, and answer customers' questions appropriately.</p> <p>Availability</p> <p>Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.</p> <p>Travel</p> <p>Minimal and up to 10%</p> <p>Physical Conditions / Environment</p> <p>Normal office environment where there is little or no discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise, or other disagreeable elements.</p> <p>General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
