<p>Piper Companies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Full Stack Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable enterprise applications. The Principal Full Stack Engineer will play a key role in shaping our architecture, mentoring team members, and driving technical excellence across the stack.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Principal Full Stack Engineer:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and secure full-stack applications. </li><li>Architect and implement backend services using Java and Spring/Spring Boot. </li><li>Apply strong OOP principles, collections, and multithreading techniques to build high-performance systems. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications of the Principal Full Stack Engineer:</p> <ul> <li>Located in either Merrimack, NH or Smithfield, RI for onsite work every other week (remote work done opposite weeks) </li><li>7+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot frameworks. </li><li>Proven experience with AWS cloud services, especially EKS/ECS, S3, and CloudWatch. </li><li>Experience with Kafka for distributed messaging. </li><li>Proficiency in Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation for infrastructure automation. </li><li>Familiarity with testing frameworks and best practices for test-driven development. </li></ul> <p>Compensation of the Principal Full Stack Engineer:</p> <ul> <li>$75.00- $80.00 an hour with comprehensive benefits: health, medical, dental, and sick leave required by law </li></ul> <p>This job opens for applications on 7/8/2025.
