Our product line ranges from all types of conveyor belting, conveying equipment and components, belting accessories, hose and fitting products, plastics, gasket, and power transmission products.</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Maintenance Supervisor at Belt Power, LLC will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of all mechanical equipment and systems across all facilities. This role encompasses preventative maintenance, equipment repair, system troubleshooting, and training. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead and support efforts to minimize downtime, improve equipment effectiveness, and maintain safety standards across all maintenance operations.</p> <p>Responsibilities Include:</p> <ul> <li>Execute daily Preventive Maintenance (PM) and inspection tasks on production and auxiliary equipment, including but not limited to High Frequency presses, compressors, slitters, and rewinds. </li><li>Perform mechanical corrective maintenance and repairs based on business priority and operational necessity. </li><li>Troubleshoot, repair, and install mechanical systems and components, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems. </li><li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation of PMs, repairs, parts usage, and system modifications. </li><li>Prioritize and implement proactive maintenance strategies to reduce breakdowns and enhance reliability. </li><li>Lead and train maintenance team to ensure best practices, adherence to safety protocols, and continuous skills development. </li><li>Coordinate and supervise third-party contractors when necessary. </li><li>Manage and maintain an organized work environment while ensuring compliance with OSHA, customer-specific standards, and internal safety policies. </li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives and participate in root cause analysis for equipment failures. </li><li>Represent the company professionally during customer site visits and interactions </li><li>Respect, protect, support, company culture. </li><li>Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations. </li><li>Required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) </li><li>Always represent Belt Power in a professional manner </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in industrial maintenance, including troubleshooting, repair, and installation of mechanical systems. </li><li>Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles </li><li>Organization and prioritization skills; attention to detail </li><li>Strong mechanical background </li><li>The ability to interpret and verify precise measurements in metric and imperial units. </li><li>Proficient in reading mechanical schematics and understanding technical manuals </li><li>Basic math skills and computer skills </li><li>Mechanical Aptitude </li><li>Adapt to changing situations </li><li>Strong communication skills written and verbal </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as well as ability to work at heights and tight spaces </li><li>Overtime hours and weekend work may be required </li><li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record </li><li>Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent education </li></ul> <p>Desired Characteristics:</p> <ul> <li>Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and systems. </li><li>Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues. </li><li>Reliability, integrity, accuracy, teamwork, positive attitude, organized, intelligent, proactive, and adaptable. </li><li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <p>The Maintenance Supervisor may lift and / or move up to 50 pounds and will require manual dexterity and strength in arms and feet to manipulate equipment controls, tools, and other items. Will use hands, arms, back, and shoulders to handle, install, position, move items, and manipulate other objects. Could be in a sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting position for long periods of time.</p> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>Work is generally performed in a fabrication shop environment. The noise level is moderately loud. Generally well-ventilated and well lit. Shop employees may be required to wear protective clothing. Operation of heavy equipment and strict safety regulations are required.</p> <p>Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:</p> <p>This is a full-time position in office, shop, and at other branch locations. Typical workdays and hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Frequent travel, overnight, overtime hours, and weekend work may be required.</p> <p>Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 an hour</p>
