<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Simsbury Public Schools is accepting applications for a .9 FTE BCBA to work with our elementary population commencing with the 2025-26 school year. Position is school year, unaffilliated position. Valid Connecticut Special Education Teacher, or School Psychologist, or School Social Worker Certification preferred</p> <ol start="2"> <li> <p>Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)</p> </li><li> <p>Expertise in the field and knowledge of ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders)</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge and ability to implement physical management training required. Training in PMT preferred.</p> </li></ol> <p>REPORTS TO: Director of Special Services</p> <p>JOB GOAL: To support elementary district-wide special education staff as well as general education teachers and administrators in the provision of behavioral supports and services designed to assist students with autism spectrum disorders and/or behavioral disorders in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE).</p>
