Project work will bolster the '25 Million Trees by 2033' initiative launched by Governor Kathy Hochul during her 2024 State of the State Address.</p> <p>Reforestation Interns will develop skills implementing forest habitat restoration and reforestation projects. This may include performing reforestation site assessments, invasive species management, surveys and monitoring, native plant propagation, and outplanting.
