<p>Job Description</p> <p>This role is based in our Auburndale, MA office.</p> <p>The Staff Accountant is responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions to support the company's financial operations and reporting processes. This role contributes to the accuracy and integrity of financial records through detailed reconciliations, journal entries, and analysis while supporting key initiatives, including ERP implementation and intercompany accounting. The position requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic finance team.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records </li><li>Create journal entries in accordance with GAAP and company policies </li><li>Support the implementation of new ERP systems, including data migration, testing, and process documentation </li><li>Assist with month-end and quarter-end close procedures, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks </li><li>Perform monthly financial statement variance analysis and investigate significant fluctuations </li><li>Prepare internal financial reports and supporting schedules for management review </li><li>Contribute to external financial reporting requirements and audit support </li><li>Document accounting processes and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls </li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support business needs </li><li>Maintain organized documentation for all accounting activities and transactions </li><li>Assist with special projects and ad-hoc analyses as needed </li></ul>
