Ready to lead product innovation and drive portfolio performance in a high-impact role?</p> <p>We're looking for a collaborative, data-driven leader to join our Product Management team and shape the future of our E&S offerings. This role offers the chance to lead product development from concept to launch, influence underwriting strategy, and work cross-functionally across actuarial, distribution, legal, and IT.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Leads the development of new insurance products, including underwriting guidelines, from concept to launch. </li><li>Manages existing and new products to ensure production and profitability targets are met. </li><li>Ownership of rate decision. </li><li>Drives collaboration with actuarial, distribution and production underwriting to create and enhance rating algorithms. </li><li>Functions as the ultimate referral underwriter by providing guidance and thought leadership to production underwriting at the single risk level and at the portfolio level. </li><li>Manages the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring milestones are met on time. </li><li>Defines and prioritizes insurance product requirements, focusing on customer-centric solutions that align with a service forward USP (Unique Selling Position). </li><li>Coordinates cross functional teams, including underwriting, distribution, actuarial, legal and IT to ensure seamless product delivery. </li><li>Owns competitor intelligence strategy and conducts market intelligence. </li><li>Provides guidance and thought leadership to Product Managers or Product Specialists to drive portfolio management monitoring and KPI's. </li></ul> <p>Regulatory Compliance and Oversight:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure all products comply with regulatory and legal requirements, working closely with the regulatory team. </li><li>Monitor changes in regulations and market conditions that may impact product offerings, making adjustments as needed. </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:</p> <ul> <li>Actively monitor product performance and enhance iteratively. </li><li>Communication of hypothesis and outcomes are driven by discussion, creation of content and presentation materials. </li><li>Analyze customer feedback, competitive landscape, and market trends to iteratively improve existing products and identify new product opportunities. </li><li>Collaborate with training and marketing to develop communication, training, and marketing materials in support of new or enhanced products and initiatives. </li><li>May require delivery of training materials or content. </li><li>Outline post implementation monitoring and measurement mechanisms for line of business specific strategies in support of outlined success criteria. </li><li>Collaborate with Data and Analytics unit to analyze and refine results. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 10+ years of E&S Product experience; production underwriting experience preferred but not required. </li><li>Must exhibit expertise in industry trends, state regulations, and compliance processes. </li><li>Must promote and exemplify data driven decision-making. </li><li>Promotes and exemplifies a culture of collaboration, including stakeholders at various levels and in various departments. </li><li>Bachelor's degree preferred with concentration in Risk Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics or Actuarial Sciences Knowledge and Abilities Provide guidance through example. </li><li>There is expectation that in addition to ownership and guidance, work product will be delivered through this role for all owned aspects. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with interpersonal and influencing skills Self-directed and self-motivated with demonstrated strength in planning, organizing and driving seamless product delivery. </li><li>Proficient with MS Office; Proficient with reporting tools like PowerBI. </li></ul> <p>The successful candidate is expected to work in one of our offices 3 days per week and also be available for travel as required.</p> <p>Salary Range</p> <p>$200,000-$300,000.00 USD with performance based bonus potential</p> <p>The annual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around the U.S. and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials, education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance, skills and/or training and market conditions. The higher end of the applies to roles based in higher cost-of-living areas.</p>
