<p>Job Title: Pharmacy Technician</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a front-end, data entry role. This position involves timely entry of prescriptions and working closely within a specialty pharmacy setting.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Accurately enter prescription information into the pharmacy system in a timely manner. </li><li>Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are processed and filled efficiently. </li><li>Utilize strong computer skills to manage data entry tasks. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations. </li><li>Assist with insurance processes and address any issues related to prescription coverage. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Pharmacy technician license is required. </li><li>Proficient in order entry and prescription fulfillment. </li><li>Strong computer skills and data entry proficiency. </li><li>Experience in retail pharmacy settings. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Registered Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred. </li><li>Experience in pharmacy is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position is within a closed-door pharmacy. The role requires working at a desk with a computer for 8-hour shifts. We offer a 100% hybrid work schedule, Monday through Friday.
