<p>Kforce's client in the Milwaukee, WI area is looking for an Accountant. Under general supervision, this role performs general accounting assignments at a professional level in support of the accounting function.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supports various tasks including managing costs, tracking fixed asset additions, preparing month-end financial statements, and reconciling accounts </li><li>Creates reports to summarize and predict company business activities and financial status in terms of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, current, and expected operations </li><li>Engages in audits as necessary </li><li>Examines financial data detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and compiles balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports </li><li>Prepares and evaluates weekly proforma income statements </li><li>Assists with cash flow forecasting* Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, or equivalent experience </li><li>3 years of related experience </li><li>Proficiency and working knowledge of spreadsheets and database software or accounting applications designed for general accounting </li><li>Working conditions: mainly in office, 1 day remote </li></ul>
