<p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Conducting field observations associated with existing facilities</p> </li><li> <p>Performing facilities related services including roofing and waterproofing, fireproofing and fire stopping, exterior insulation finish systems (EIFS), anchor testing, coring, scanning, material sampling, leak investigations, and forensic investigations</p> </li><li> <p>Interacting and communicating effectively with site contractors, other technicians, and project managers</p> </li><li> <p>Attending project meetings and assisting in project resolutions</p> </li><li> <p>Assisting with preparation of proposals</p> </li><li> <p>Assisting with the resolution of both technical and administrative project issues</p> </li><li> <p>Assisting with scheduling, training, and oversight of field staff</p> </li></ul> <p>Want to experience what this job entails? Click below:</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Actively pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or related degree</p> </li><li> <p>Interest in building forensics, mechanical systems, and structures</p> </li><li> <p>Previous internship experience would go a long way</p> </li><li> <p>Position requires carrying 40 - 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - mileage will be reimbursed</p> </li></ul> <p>About Us</p> <p>ECS Group of Companies (ECS) was founded in 1988 with the goal to raise the standards of professional engineering consulting.
