We are changing the world with:</p> <ul> <li>Trusted products that accelerate drug discovery, development, and delivery to save lives </li><li>Damage-resistant cover glass to enhance the devices that keep us connected </li><li>Optical fiber, wireless technologies, and connectivity solutions to carry information and ideas at the speed of light </li><li>Precision glass for advanced displays to deliver richer experiences </li><li>Auto glass and ceramics to drive cleaner, safer, and smarter transportation </li></ul> <p>Purpose: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing and facilities equipment to ensure efficient and safe production.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Install, maintain, and repair machinery (e.g., conveyors, pumps, compressors). </li><li>Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. </li><li>Dismantle, move, and reassemble equipment. </li><li>Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance. </li><li>Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues. </li><li>Conduct rigging, lifting, and precision alignment. </li><li>Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams. </li><li>Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. </li><li>Keep detailed maintenance records. </li><li>Assist in the installation and testing of new machinery. </li><li>Train junior staff and suggest process improvements. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent; Journeyman license preferred. </li><li>3+ years of mechanical experience. </li><li>Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. </li><li>Effective communication skills. </li><li>Willingness to work on-call/shifts, overtime, and weekends. </li><li>Physical strength to handle heavy equipment. </li><li>Knowledge of schematics and 'Lock out Tag Out' principles. </li><li>Ability to work 12-hour shift on a 2-3-2 rotating schedule, alternating day/night to night/day every two weeks. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information: This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the renewable energy industry.
