<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)</p> <p>Location: District Alternative Education Program (3 Sites)</p> <p>Position Type: Full-Time</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated and skilled BCBA to support our Alternative Education Program across district buildings. The BCBA will provide expert behavior analytic services to students with diverse and complex behavioral and learning needs. This role includes conducting assessments, designing and implementing behavior intervention plans, collaborating with educators and families, supporting classroom management and coverage, and leading ongoing training for behavior support staff. The BCBA will also engage with families and may accompany staff on home visits to ensure consistency of support across environments.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to student needs. </li><li>Monitor and analyze behavioral data to evaluate intervention effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments. </li><li>Provide direct support and classroom coverage for students exhibiting challenging behaviors as needed. </li><li>Develop and deliver ongoing training and coaching for behavior support staff to ensure effective implementation of interventions. </li><li>Collaborate with teachers, student support staff, administrators, and families to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans. </li><li>Accompany staff on home visits when necessary to support family engagement and intervention consistency. </li><li>Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute behavior analytic expertise. </li><li>Maintain compliance with ethical standards and district policies related to behavior intervention. </li><li>Travel as needed between district program sites to provide consistent support and coverage. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certificate. </li><li>Experience working in alternative education or similar settings preferred. </li><li>Expertise in behavior analytic principles, assessment, and intervention strategies. </li><li>Experience developing and delivering staff training. </li><li>Ability to implement emergency safety interventions </li><li>Ability to communicate and work effectively with students, faculty and parents. </li><li>Ability to manage a flexible schedule and travel across multiple sites, including occasional home visits. </li><li>Commitment to student-centered, trauma-informed, and family-centered practice </li><li>Ability to keep information confidential </li></ul> <p>EOE</p>
