<p>Arcosa Marine Products, Inc., is searching for a safety-oriented Material Handler in our Ashland City, TN manufacturing plant.</p> <p>Arcosa Marine Products, Inc., is part of Arcosa's Inland Barge Group, and is a leading manufacturer of barges used to transport cargo on U.S. inland waterways. Arcosa Marine Products manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges, that are used to transport a variety of products including grain, coal, and aggregates. Arcosa Marine Products also manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum, fertilizer, ethanol, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes. It is the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers used primarily on grain barges. Additionally, Arcosa Marine Products provides a full line of deck hardware to the marine industry, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Expedites materials between warehouse and departments. </li><li>Verifies quantity and condition of materials received. </li><li>Stores incoming materials using forklift. </li><li>Picks materials from inventory for distribution and arranges for delivery to work stations. </li><li>Prepares and packages materials for outbound shipments. </li><li>Completes and distributes shipping documents. </li><li>Performs cycle count by reconciling physical inventory with data in automated system. </li><li>Maintains and completes all required records and requires good computer skills. </li><li>Generate reports to establish shortage lists and determine needed materials by interpreting shop drawings or blueprints. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>Work requires an understanding of the organization of materials, the location of work stations, and the ability to read shop drawings and blueprints. </li><li>These characteristics are acquired through completion of a junior high school education and approximately six to twelve months experience. </li><li>Must be able to operate a fork lift. </li><li>Ability to function as a team member; to establish and maintain effective working relationships. </li><li>This position requires good computer skills. </li></ul> <p>MRN144</p>
