<p>We are looking for candidates who have a passion for helping at-risk youth. </p> <p>We are Working Together to Strengthen North Carolina's Youth and Families!</p> <p>This position is assigned to District 28 and will provide services to our Court Services offices in Buncombe County, North Carolina.</p> <p>This position will assist with the administrative functions of the office by managing appointments/schedules and providing clerical support to Juvenile Court Counselor, Supervisors and the Chief Court Counselor.</p> <p>This position requires:</p> <ul> <li>Interactions with the public in both office and telephonic settings to direct them to the appropriate individuals/resources. </li><li>Data entry and reporting from NCJOIN and other electronic sources. </li><li>Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment, ordering supplies, maintaining equipment and typing letters and reports, sorting and delivering office mail. </li><li>Providing assistance to staff; service recipients, and other organizational units and the public in resolving problems or inquiries. </li><li>A significant knowledge of the office or work unit's policies and procedures in order to communicate or process information or documents involving program functions and services, to assess office systems for information and prepare documents and reports. </li></ul> <p>This position requires the ability to:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to learn and independently apply departmental rules and regulations. </li><li>Ability to learn office process and procedures and apply this knowledge in problem-solving and responding to questions and inquiries. </li><li>Ability to use judgment in coordinating and monitoring office procedures and workflow. </li></ul> <p>The successful applicant must possess a valid North Carolina driver's license.</p> <p>Must be able to obtain commission as a Notary Public.</p> <p>Work Schedule:</p> <p>This is a full-time position.
