<p>As an Assembler at MacLean-Fogg, you will play a key role in producing high-quality components that power our customers' success. You will assemble parts with precision, ensure products meet strict quality standards, and help keep our operations running smoothly and safely. Your work directly supports our reputation for excellence in manufacturing and innovation.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <ul> <li>Position Type: Full-Time/Hourly (Non-Exempt) </li><li>Pay Range: Competitive </li><li>Work Location: Onsite - Whitewater, Wisconsin 53190 </li><li>Shift: 1 </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assemble product parts and components according to specifications and work instructions. </li><li>Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively. </li><li>Perform quality checks to confirm parts meet standards before moving to the next stage. </li><li>Report quality, equipment, or material issues promptly to supervision. </li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area with properly stored tools. </li><li>Follow all standard operating procedures, safety, environmental, and quality policies. </li><li>Support continuous improvement by suggesting and implementing operational enhancements. </li><li>Assist in training and mentoring team members to build skills and knowledge. </li><li>Contribute to a collaborative and respectful team environment. </li><li>Complete additional duties as assigned to meet production needs. </li></ul> <p>Skills/Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Strong assembly skills with attention to detail </li><li>Ability to read and interpret work instructions and product specifications </li><li>Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment </li><li>Basic machine operation knowledge </li><li>Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination </li><li>Strong problem-solving and documentation skills </li><li>Ability to follow written and verbal directions accurately </li><li>Team-oriented with mentoring and coaching abilities </li><li>Basic math skills for measurements and calculations </li></ul> <p>Qualifications (Required)</p> <ul> <li>Education: High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Experience: Minimum 5 years of assembly or manufacturing experience </li><li>Knowledge of calibration, product specifications, and production tools </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly. </li><li>Required to stand for extended periods. </li><li>Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Frequent bending and stooping required. </li><li>Must have the dexterity to handle small objects. </li><li>Must be able to work in noisy environments. </li></ul> <p>#ZR</p>
