<p>Join our collaborative team as an Events & Sponsorships Coordinator, where you'll bring energy and organization to the planning and execution of events and sponsorships that support agriculture and rural communities.</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>Horizon Farm Credit is actively seeking an Events & Sponsorships Coordinator to join our Government, Industry, and Member Relations team. Qualified candidates may work in the Mechanicsburg, PA, Mount Joy, PA, or Westminster, MD, branch locations. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule after 6 months of successful employment. Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, creative, and highly organized individual with a passion for event planning, marketing, and community engagement.</p> <p>Position Description: In this position, you'll plan and execute a variety of customer-facing events, manage sponsorships, and support marketing and administrative initiatives across the Association. From coordinating trade shows and conferences to managing promotional materials and supporting community programs, you'll play a key role in enhancing our brand and customer experience. Join us and help shape the future of agriculture through meaningful connections and impactful outreach!</p> <p>Areas of Responsibility:</p> <ul> <li>Plan and execute external Association-sponsored trade shows, conferences, meetings, and other customer-facing events. Responsibilities include vendor engagement, contract negotiation, budget management, event logistics, and development of event materials and communications. </li><li>Coordinate sponsorships in collaboration with the Director of Government, Industry, and Member Relations. </li><li>Serve as the primary contact for invoicing, follow-up, and support related to programs such as the Community Investment Program. </li><li>Oversee processes that support the sales team and enhance customer experience, including managing inventory, ordering promotional items and gifts, and coordinating internal communications. </li><li>Provide administrative support for programs such as scholarships, grants, and awards. </li><li>Support all departments within the Association by facilitating communication, coordinating shared resources, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment. </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, event planning, or a related field. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Generally, minimum experience to two years of related work experience is required. </li><li>Experience in event planning, marketing coordination, or administrative support is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Preferences</p> <ul> <li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and simultaneously work on multiple projects/assignments. </li><li>Ability to identify staff/project needs; meets or exceeds customer service needs. </li><li>Analyzes issues; produces effective, practical decisions/solutions. </li><li>Ability to collaborate with team members across the association effectively. </li><li>Ability to travel for events, farm visits, meetings, trainings, etc. </li><li>Ability to foster open communications; demonstrated listening and speaking skills. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). </li><li>Ability to travel for events, meetings, and trainings as needed. </li><li>Detail-oriented, adaptable, and collaborative team player. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work at a desk for extended periods. </li></ul> <p>Who are we?</p> <p>Horizon Farm Credit is an expert in agriculture, with over 100 years of serving rural America.
