<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Manage the chemical warehouse and hazardous waste operations, including ordering and delivering chemicals to operations.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage, direct and complete scheduled decontamination projects </li><li>Maintain spill response supplies and perform spill response actions </li><li>Monitor facility environmental conditions and correct deficiencies </li><li>Mix Marking Line solution and package for shipment </li><li>Supervise and direct decontamination jobs and all spill responses </li><li>Manage all satellite waste areas, the Central Accumulation Area and the roll-off with filter cake from WWT </li><li>Maintain all waste profiles with transportation and disposal suppliers </li><li>Packaging all regulated wastes for shipment </li><li>Deliver chemicals to operations and collect waste from operations </li><li>Learn to operate WWT operation for backup purposes </li><li>Perform periodic inventory of chemicals and order as needed </li><li>Maintain cleanliness in Chemical Warehouse and Central Accumulation Area </li><li>Always adhere to all EMS safety rules </li><li>Other duties as required </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent </li><li>Related decontamination work experience preferred </li><li>Knowledge of state and federal rule governing waste collection, storage, labelling, packaging, and shipment </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds </li><li>Standing up to 90% of time </li></ul> <p>Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Manufacturing </li><li>Dust, dirt, grease, chemicals, some odors, some oil fumes, and noise </li><li>Exposure to temperatures potentially above 90 degrees at times </li></ul> <p>Training Requirements and Frequency:</p> <ul> <li>HAZWOPER (29 CFR 1910.120 (e)), site worker initial and annual refresher </li><li>DOT Hazardous Materials Regulations (49 CFR Parts 172 and 173) </li><li>RCRA Hazardous Waste Training (40 CFR 262.16 and 262.17) </li><li>Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC) training (annual) </li><li>Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan training (annual) </li><li>Respiratory Protection training (29 CFR 1910.134, annual) </li><li>Hazard Communication Program (29 CFR 1910.1200, annual) </li><li>Confined Space Entry Program (29 CFR 1910.146, initial) </li><li>Flammable and Combustible Liquids Safety (29 CFR 1910.106, initial) </li><li>Hearing Conservation (29 CFR 1910.95, annual) </li><li>Control of Hazardous Energy (29 CFR 1910.147, initial) </li><li>Powered Industrial Truck (29 CFR 1910.178, initial and 3-year evaluation) </li><li>Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) training (29 CFR 1910.66, initial) </li></ul>
