<p>Operational Optimization, Applied Analytics, and Data Management Lead Duties: Develop and execute operational plans for the Operations Office - in tight relationship with the Strategy Office - tailored to insurance and software company objectives for sustainable growth and operational efficiency. Serve as trusted technical contributor, providing insights and recommendations to Senior Leadership at both an Entity and Group level, within AXA DCP (Digital Commercial Platform), AXA GUO, and AXA Cyber CoE, for optimizing operational performance aligned with business goals. Drive the organization, integrity, and security of our data assets by leading dedicated resources responsible to design and implement efficient data management processes, ensuring data quality and accuracy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making and compliance with internal and external requirements. Establish and cultivate relationships with external data providers, acting, as applicable, as a Single Point of Contact, Product Owner, and/or Project Director for data-related initiatives. Drive continuous business improvement projects for COO and ultimately enabling DCP to achieve the targets, for operational optimization purpose. Lead the analysis, planning and execution of improvement projects. Accountable for all parts of the improvement process including defining project governance, project planning, mobilizing the project team, conducting, and presenting analysis, facilitating workshops, conducting risk assessment, creating short- and long-term action plan and ensure the execution of the action plan. Drive a culture of collaboration and inclusivity, ensuring a positive workplace environment conductive to high performance. Provide the business with evidence if external data vendors contribute value to internal book, aiming for reduction in loss ratio and prediction of losses more effectively. Statistically attribute and objectively measure value of using services. Develop a communication and rollout strategy to ensure fulsome use of analytic solutions by Senior Stakeholders. Measure and optimize tool penetration and utilization. Interpret technical outputs from Data Scientists and Actuarial professionals for business audience. Work collaboratively with different Departments and Entities, including Pricing, Underwriting, Risk Consulting, and Claims, ensuring that all needs are considered when developing analytic solutions. Balance precision with meeting multiple simultaneous deliverables at scale and pace. Report to the Chief Operations Officer, AXA DCP. Requirements: Requires Bachelor's degree (will accept 3 or 4 year U.S. or foreign degree) in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or related field of study, and 5 years of experience in any job title/occupation/position involving actuarial science. Experience specified must include 5 years of experience with each of the following: utilizing Data Science concepts, including Machine Learning and Advanced Analytic Modeling; programming in R, Python, SQL, and VBA; developing and maintaining new pricing strategies by enhancing underwriting risk assessments and guidelines; and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience specified must include 4 years of experience with each of the following: introducing a data-driven approach to consulting strategies and decision-making; and translating business objectives into actionable operational plans to drive success in an insurance firm. Experience specified must include 3 years of experience applying regulatory requirements and compliance standards within Financial Services Industry. Experience specified must include 2 years of experience leading and guiding teams; and with the Cyber Insurance sector or industry. Requires up to 25% domestic/international travel.
