Additional benefits information can be found at https://www.msdwt.k12.in.us/benefits</p> <p>JOB EXPECTATIONS & REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Position Purpose / Description</p> <p>The Speech-Language Pathologist works within the district with students who qualify for speech language services. The SLP is responsible for screening, evaluating, treating students with qualifying diagnoses. The school-based speech-language pathologist provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication disorders. Speech language pathologists are responsible for coaching and consulting with teachers and other support personnel to increase academic success. The SLP works with the entire school staff to provide assistance in the creation and implementation of Individualized Education Programs.
