<p>Senior Business Systems Analyst</p> <p>The Lead Business Systems Analyst leads complex BI and analytics initiatives, ensuring that business requirements are translated into efficient and scalable technical solutions. This role partners closely with leaders across business and IT to drive BI strategy, define standards, and mentor other analysts. The Senior BSA combines deep domain knowledge with advanced analytical skills to deliver impactful insights for decision-making.</p> <p>Leadership & Requirements Management</p> <ul> <li>Lead business analysis efforts for large BI projects and cross-functional initiatives. </li><li>Facilitate workshops and gather requirements from senior stakeholders. </li><li>Translate complex business needs into detailed functional specifications. </li></ul> <p>Analysis & Quality Assurance</p> <ul> <li>Perform detailed data validation and support ETL/data model design reviews. </li><li>Develop UAT plans, coordinate testing, and verify BI deliverables meet requirements. </li><li>Ensure compliance with data governance and reporting standards. </li></ul> <p>Collaboration & Mentorship</p> <ul> <li>Partner with BI developers, data engineers, and project managers to ensure delivery alignment. </li><li>Mentor junior and mid-level BSAs, providing feedback and process guidance. </li><li>Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. </li></ul> <p>Technical Skills</p> <ul> <li>Strong SQL and BI tool familiarity (Tableau, Power BI). </li><li>Understanding of data warehousing and analytics architecture. </li><li>Experience with Agile delivery using Jira and Confluence. </li></ul> <p>Core Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Advanced facilitation, communication, and documentation skills. </li><li>Ability to influence and lead without formal authority. </li><li>Deep understanding of finance or insurance business processes. </li><li>Defect-free, intuitive, streamlined, and effective resulting processes, business practices, and systems that meet business needs. </li><li>On-time delivery of requirements within fundamental project metrics (scope, time schedule, and costs) </li><li>Positive feedback from project manager, sponsor, and team regarding role effectiveness and deliverables </li></ul> <p>Salary Range- $85,000-$105,000 a year</p> <p>#LI-OJ1</p>
