<p>The Essentials:</p> <ul> <li>Schedule: Per Diem (PRN) | Minimum 24 hours per month | NIGHT SHIFT 7PM - 7:30AM </li><li>Location: Fairlawn, OH </li><li>Specialties: Inpatient/Post-Surgical Orthopedics </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Supports high-quality patient care by assisting the nursing team with direct patient care activities and unit operations under the supervision of a Registered Nurse </li><li>Performs activities of daily living, basic clinical tasks such as blood glucose testing, obtaining urine and blood specimens, removing IV catheters and Foley catheters, and performing EKGs. </li><li>Assist with patient transfers, mobility, transport, and discharge activities, including equipment removal and escorting patients to pre-op or testing areas using proper identification. </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing; completion of at least one clinical rotation preferred. </li><li>Experience: Previous patient care or customer service experience preferred. </li><li>Skills: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. Basic mathematical skills required to accurately record patient data. Strong interpersonal skills to support effective communication with patients, families, and care team members. Knowledge of basic medical terminology and common clinical abbreviations preferred. </li><li>License/Certifications: BLS within 3 months of hire. </li></ul>
