<p>Jr. Quantitative Developer - Trading & Derivatives</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>This role will support the design and development of quantitative software solutions used for trading, valuation and analysis of derivatives portfolios. The position will partner with trading, quantitative, and technology teams to build scalable systems, enhance existing platforms, and implement models that support investment strategies.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop and enhance software solutions based on quantitative trading requirements and technical specifications. </li><li>Improve and refactor existing systems while building new tools to support trading and valuation workflows. </li><li>Integrate internal and external systems including databases and financial analytics platforms. </li><li>Create and maintain technical documentation aligned with development lifecycle standards. </li><li>Support change management processes by tracking and implementing system updates. </li><li>Collaborate with quantitative analysts to deploy and maintain models in production environments. </li><li>Contribute to the development of derivative valuation models and related analytics. </li><li>Build front-end and back-end systems to support trading and portfolio valuation activities. </li><li>Partner with technology leaders and business stakeholders to evolve trading and hedging solutions. </li><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams including traders, developers, and operations professionals. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related quantitative field. </li><li>Foundational knowledge of quantitative analysis, statistics, or financial mathematics. </li><li>Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases including SQL Server, Oracle Database, or MongoDB. </li><li>Proficiency in at least one programming language including Python, C#, MATLAB, or Go. </li><li>Familiarity with development tools including Visual Studio Code or PyCharm. </li><li>Solid understanding of Cloud platforms including AWS. </li><li>Exposure to Web technologies and application development concepts. </li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. </li><li>Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams. </li><li>Interest in financial markets and derivative products. </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Experience with real-time trading, futures execution, or hedging systems. </li><li>Professional certifications including CFA or FRM. </li></ul> <p>This is a Direct Hire opportunity with our New York, NY client.
