The caregiver is able to work collaboratively with the on-site</p> <p>director.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Work collaboratively with the on-site director.</p> </li><li> <p>Supervise and work creatively with children in a group setting before and after school.</p> </li><li> <p>Greets children and their parents warmly and with enthusiasm each day.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in the implementation of daily activities for students.</p> </li><li> <p>Promotes feelings of trust and security in children.</p> </li><li> <p>Visually supervise students.</p> </li><li> <p>Interact with students positively while supporting their growth and development.</p> </li><li> <p>Enforce program rules but leave issues of behavior management to the on-site director.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a friendly rapport with parents and building staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with implementing daily activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend at least 16 hours of training/professional development each calendar year.</p> </li><li> <p>Follows all rules and regulations established with the Bureau of Children and Adult Licensing of the Michigan Department of Human Services</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists all staff with cleaning and sanitizing responsibilities.</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be at least 16 years of age.</p> </li><li> <p>Child care background is preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Must pass the State of Michigan Comprehensive Background Check</p> </li><li> <p>Must meet minimum State Licensing Requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>TB Test on file</p> </li><li> <p>CPR and First Aid Certified (we will provide)</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to effectively carry out all above mentioned job responsibilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Work in a professional manner with On-Site Director, other caregivers, administrators.</p> </li><li> <p>Be punctual and in attendance daily.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Conditions:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to stand and walk throughout the work day in order to supervise children while doing daily activities that include participating in gym and playground activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have the physical stamina to care for energetic children</p> </li><li> <p>Required to bend, sit on the floor, run and engage in other physical activities</p> </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li> <p>$13.09/hour.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to work morning and after school care.</p> </li><li> <p>We offer 9 month and 12-month positions. (12-month positions work through the summer for Camp O'Fun.)</p> </li><li> <p>M-F 7:00a - 8:30a (9:05 AM on late-start Mondays)</p> </li><li> <p>M-F 3:30p - 6:30p</p> </li></ul> <p>Application Procedure:</p> <p>Complete the on-line application and attach the required documents.
