They are the consummate leader and manager, handle a ton of responsibility and make it all look easy even in moments of high stress and demand. Assistant Site Managers demonstrate the competencies and judgement to become a full Site Manager. There is never a slow day, slow hour or slow minute at Carriage House Neighborhood Car Wash. Each day is planned out, the checklists are followed with military-like precision, and the team feels accomplished for another day's hard work completed and delivering the best customer experience anywhere. They are the core to our values system.</p> <p>MODEL THESE BEHAVIORS:</p> <ul> <li>Promote our values… "Live by our H.O.U.S.E values" (Helpful, Ownership, United, Safety and </li></ul> <p>Experience)</p> <ul> <li>Know when to manage (what to do) and when to lead (why we do it) </li><li>Delegate effectively and manage to intentional outcomes </li><li>Be a One Minute Manager while also coaching to Carriage House values </li><li>Create a positive and fun work environment while being humble, authentic and vulnerable </li><li>Put the team in the position of having a sense of purpose by being busy every minute of the day </li><li>Responsible, disciplined and not overly serious </li><li>Use technology and make it a positive experience </li></ul> <p>CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Team Leadership and Management</p> </li><li> <p>Employee on-boarding (first 90-day training sequence; ongoing training)</p> </li><li> <p>Managing</p> </li><li> <p>Coaching</p> </li><li> <p>Planning (daily plans, routines and rainy day projects)</p> </li><li> <p>Create daily team rotation schedule by role and personal breaks</p> </li><li> <p>Change Management Communication (personal and white boards)</p> </li><li> <p>Work with team to meet or beat monthly goals</p> </li><li> <p>Fill in staffing gaps as they occur</p> </li><li> <p>Manage escalation tree (order of phone call escalations)</p> </li><li> <p>Deliver a Premier Customer Experience</p> </li><li> <p>Observe and coach team on greeting customers and communicating promotions</p> </li><li> <p>Dress for Success standards are in place</p> </li><li> <p>Know all products and services, wash packages, promotions and pricing across the board</p> </li></ul> <p>and can effectively train others</p> <ul> <li>Maximize team member visibility and engagement with customers at kiosks and vacs </li><li>Communication, communication, communication with radios among the team </li><li>Uphold safety standards (e.g., ensure eStop used for cleaning tunnel; COVID </li></ul> <p>precautions, loading cars, eye protection worn in equipment room, and ear protection</p> <p>in blower room, etc.)</p> <ul> <li>Handle damage claims following the process using Open.Wash Systems </li><li>Can manage all aspects of Unlimited Plans in Washify POS system and be fluent in </li></ul> <p>understanding the technology of our wash systems</p> <ul> <li>Ensure Operational Excellence and Wash Quality </li><li>Ensure opening and closing checklists are properly followed without gaps </li><li>Daily site checklists are followed and documented </li><li>Hourly - review wash bay and equipment room for any equipment issues; resolve or </li></ul> <p>elevate as necessary</p> <ul> <li>Monitor wash quality continually and immediately address shortages (drying/blowers, </li></ul> <p>tire shine, cleaning effectiveness and brush contact, and water quality - RO TDS</p> <p>monitoring)</p> <ul> <li>Weekly detailed review of all essential operational equipment items (belts, hoses for </li></ul> <p>cracks and stiffness, foot valves, tips, nozzles, shocks, air compressors, air water</p> <p>canisters, pump oil levels, check valves, HVAC filters, and RO pre filter, etc.)</p> <ul> <li>Daily test all wash systems and prime as necessary; inspection of all core equipment </li><li>Must pass a thorough exam of all working functions and component parts of equipment </li></ul> <p>room and tunnel equipment</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain checklists on Open Wash Systems and add maintenance items</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain mat cleaning machine (clean, chemicals and maintenance)</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and track vending machine supplies</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain "Day One" Site Standards</p> </li><li> <p>Create and manage site and building maintenance routines (site, vac areas, walls, pay</p> </li></ul> <p>station canopies, equipment room, rest rooms, windows, spider webs, landscaping beds</p> <p>and pots / watering, blow all customer areas, trash cans and vacuum hoses and cuffs)</p> <ul> <li>Maintain cleaning supplies inventory </li><li>Monthly - audit building exterior and interior and document items to address and </li></ul> <p>ensure they are completed (scuff marks, sign lighting, corners, windows, concrete</p> <p>surfaces clean and grease free, drainage traps, calcium vs. salt usage, snow removal,</p> <p>etc.)</p>
