The Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Treasury is a critical function within CIB Finance and Business Management, responsible for managing liquidity, balance sheet, and capital positions. As a Treasury Capital Controller - Associate, you will serve as a trusted advisor to CIB management and corporate partners, providing clarity on analytics to evaluate metrics and promote results. This role offers opportunities to collaborate closely with business heads and internal stakeholders to achieve financial and strategic goals.</p> <p>As a Treasury Capital Controller - Associate within the CIB, you will be part of a high-performing team, serving as a trusted advisor to CIB management and corporate partners. You will provide clarity on the best usage of analytics to gain insights, evaluate metrics, and promote results. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, collaborating closely with business heads and internal stakeholders to achieve financial and strategic goals.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage the end-to-end reporting of CIB FR Y-15 (GSIB) and Leverage (SLR) results based on a monthly and quarterly cycle. </li><li>Review results with critical mindset and create in-depth analysis for senior management reviews. </li><li>Serve as subject-matter expert and advise senior management, business leads, and Corporate partners on a wide range of topics including new business initiatives, policy changes, and rules implementation. </li><li>Execute ad-hoc analysis and presentations in support of financial and strategic goals. </li><li>Partner with Capital Policy, Corporate Accounting Policy, and Legal teams on implementation of new capital rules and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Leverage a deep understanding of the CIB operations and financial principles and a working knowledge of key business drivers to coordinate, assess, and execute the long-term goals and priorities of the team. </li><li>Coordinating results consolidation and dissemination, collection and preparation of adjustments and management saves. </li><li>Partnering with Corporate and CIB Sub-LoB controller teams to review accuracy and completeness of reporting, as well as identify major drivers and themes. </li><li>Getting involved in projects to improve operational processes. enhance efficiency and controls, as well as further our technology journey. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 3 years business and financial management experience. </li><li>BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting. </li><li>Advanced Microsoft Office skillset (Excel, PowerPoint). </li><li>Solid understanding of financial products and markets, as well as ability to link results to activities. </li><li>Aptitude to work collaboratively and develop strong relationships across the organization. </li><li>Aptitude for identifying business needs, improving on current processes, and driving operational change. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Strong preference for financial reporting or product controller related experience. </li><li>Preference for practical knowledge on data visualization and automation (Tableau, Alteryx, SQL). </li></ul> <p>NOTE: This position is not eligible for sponsorship.</p>
