<p>The John Chambers College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University (WVU), an R1 research institution and AACSB-accredited college, invites applications for a Teaching Assistant Professor position in Entrepreneurship/Strategy. This full-time, non-tenure-track position is set to begin in August 2026.</p> <p>Position Description</p> <p>The successful candidate will:</p> <ul> <li>Teach courses in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship. </li><li>Deliver high-quality instruction to both large and small class sizes, contributing to student success and engagement. </li><li>Participate in service activities, supporting departmental, college, and university initiatives in line with the college's mission. </li></ul> <p>This position emphasizes teaching (80%) and service (20%).</p> <ul> <li>A master's degree or higher (Ph.D. or DBA) in Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Management, or a closely related field is required. </li><li>Demonstrated excellence in teaching and commitment to student success. </li><li>Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience teaching large-section undergraduate courses, though this is not required.
