Tracks supplies and prepares paperwork. Keeps department clean and hazard free using tools and techniques, as well as issues. Delivers inventory supply items. Pick up and deliver supplies and equipment using a commercial van and/or 26' box truck under 26,000 GVW.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Minimum Education Required:</p> <ul> <li>High School Graduate or GED </li></ul> <p>Experience & Training Required:</p> <ul> <li>One year previous experience preferred </li><li>Six months experience operating a commercial box truck. </li></ul> <p>Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be 21 years of age or over at time of hire. </li><li>Must have valid Ohio Driver's License and meet Summa Fleet Insurance Standards. </li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain tow motor certification </li><li>Microcomputer skills; or willingness and ability to acquire such skill to operate application packages used by department. </li><li>Ability to read and write English, follow written and oral instruction and perform basic mathematical functions. </li><li>Ability to work well within a team environment: by accepting and offering honest and constructive feedback; by supporting team goals and encouraging other team members; and by collaborating with patient care team members to consolidate work, solve problems, create new methods, and/or reduce costs. </li><li>Ability to coordinate communication information for personnel, physicians, and patients. </li><li>Expected to complete a basic training program that provides knowledge of hospital supplies and related medical terminology. </li><li>Ability to work independently and solve problems without direct supervision. </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with managers and staff in user areas (e.g. nursing staff, secretaries, nursing assistants, etc.) and materials management as well as external contacts. </li><li>Ability to operate a hand held calculator for inventory purposes. </li><li>Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with customers (i.e., assigned nursing unit personnel, internal and external customers). </li><li>Must be able to work various shifts </li></ul> <p>Population specific competency: ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.</p> <p>Level of Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Heavy: Exerts 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or ten to 20 pounds of force continuously to move objects. </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled</p> <p>$19.23/hr - $23.08/hr</p> <p>The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.
