<p>The Staff Attorney provides legal and regulatory guidance to CME Securities Clearing (CMESC) and CME Clearing. The attorney will report directly to CMESC's Head of Legal and is expected to play a lead role in managing the regulatory aspects of securities clearing initiatives. The attorney will also work on matters for CME Clearing, gaining broad exposure to the legal and regulatory aspects of the CME Group's clearing business.</p> <p>Principal Accountabilities:</p> <p>For CMESC generally:</p> <ul> <li>Drafting template agreements for participants </li><li>Drafting template agreements for CMESC service providers </li><li>Implementing and supporting CMESC's governance framework </li><li>Advising the clearing house on creation and maintenance of policies and procedures </li><li>Drafting and submitting rule filings under guidance of senior attorneys </li></ul> <p>For CME Clearing generally:</p> <ul> <li>Advising the clearing house on planned initiatives, including projects to extend margin efficiencies, collateral acceptance and clearing cycles </li><li>Support for Title VIII exam </li><li>Review of new rules and drafting of comment letters </li><li>Review of credit facility documents in renewal </li><li>Drafting and submitting rule filings under guidance of senior attorneys </li></ul> <p>CME Group is committed to offering a competitive total rewards package for our employees that recognizes their contributions to the business and reflects our long-term investment in their future.
