Operating with high autonomy, this role leads cross-functional teams and governs supplier performance to ensure secure supply, regulatory compliance, and measurable business outcomes for ACCO Brands.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Category Strategy & Ownership</p> <ul> <li>Own the global paper & print category strategy with a 3-year roadmap covering segmentation, make/buy, dual sourcing, footprint optimization, and innovation. </li><li>Translate market intelligence into sourcing strategies and commercial plans. </li><li>Set and deliver annual targets aligned to corporate objectives. </li><li>Serve as subject-matter expert for paper grades, print processes, converting, coatings, inks, adhesives, and specification management. </li></ul> <p>Supplier Strategy, Negotiation & Governance</p> <ul> <li>Lead supplier identification, qualification, and final selection. </li><li>Architect and negotiate long-term agreements. </li><li>Ensure contract coverage and compliance. </li></ul> <p>Risk Management, Compliance & Sustainability</p> <ul> <li>Conduct structured risk reviews with defined mitigations. </li><li>Partner with compliance teams to ensure adherence to corporate requirements. </li><li>Resolve delivery disruptions and quality incidents with corrective actions </li></ul> <p>Cross-Functional Leadership & Project Delivery</p> <ul> <li>Lead cross-functional teams to set cost targets and supply decisions. </li><li>Provide project management for major sourcing projects. </li><li>Manage relationships with the manufacturing site, marketing and senior leadership. </li></ul> <p>Financial & Analytical Excellence</p> <ul> <li>Build should-cost models and TCO frameworks. </li><li>Track savings, PPV, inflation/deflation, and working capital. </li><li>Monitor global market trends. </li></ul> <p>Operational Performance</p> <ul> <li>Ensure materials meet spec accuracy, quality, and cost targets. </li><li>Optimize supplier relationships and long-term agreements. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment & Travel</p> <ul> <li>Remote role with approximately 15-20% domestic and 5-10% international travel. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree. </li><li>7+ years progressive experience in strategic sourcing in the paper/print industry. </li><li>Proven results managing multimillion-dollar global spend. </li><li>Expertise in negotiation, SRM, risk management, and cost modeling. </li><li>Experience influencing executives and leading global teams. </li><li>ERP proficiency (SAP preferred) and advanced analytics skills. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>MBA or certifications (CIPS, CPSM, CSCP). </li><li>Global supply base experience. </li><li>Familiarity with quality systems and supplier development. </li></ul> <p>#LI-Remote</p> <p>Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000</p> <p>About Us:</p> <p>You know our brands.
