<p>Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Contract Specialist to join a Federal Program located in Arlington, VA though a hybrid work model, onsite one day per week. The Contracts Specialist will analyze cost, contract negotiations/modifications, and procurement policies of DoD Research and Development contracts.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Contract Specialist:</p> <ul> <li>Assisting in the negotiation on contracts </li><li>Analyzing proposed costs and prices </li><li>Preparing required contract file documentation per the FAR, DFARS, and other relevant regulations </li><li>Analyzing procurement policies and procedures </li></ul> <p>Qualifications of the Contract Specialist:</p> <ul> <li>5-8 years of experience as a Contract Officer </li><li>FAR and DFAR Experience </li><li>Experience with PD2 </li><li>Experience in government or commercial procurement </li><li>Bachelor's Degree Required </li><li>Active Secret Security Clearance Required </li></ul> <p>Compensation for the Contract Specialist:</p> <ul> <li>Salary Range: $140,000 - $165,000 <em>flexible based on experience</em> </li><li>Full Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, etc. </li><li>Sick leave as required by law </li></ul> <p>This job opens for applications on [Insert Posting Date].
