<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Responsible for the receiving, storing, and rotating food and non-food inventory for the Nutrition Services Department per department protocols and guidelines. Follows regulatory guidelines for maintaining proper food temperatures to ensure food safety throughout the receiving and storage process.</p> <p>Posting Specifics</p> <p>Pay Rate: Based on Experience</p> <p>Shift Details: Part-time (20 hrs/wk) - MORNINGS. This is a shared position with another caregiver, working opposite schedules. Typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Some weekends.</p> <p>Department: Layton Hospital Culinary Services</p> <p>Additional Details: This position will involve putting away our orders that are delivered from various vendors, stocking nurses stations with snacks throughout the hospital and helping deliver off site caterings.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>Job Essentials</p> <p>Receiving and Storage Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Receives and verifies physical shipment with packing slips and purchase orders and notifies Culinary procurement of discrepancies. Identifies damaged or missing items to expedite credits and refuses sub-standard products </li><li>Stocks materials in proper storage locations following FIFO and labels products according to department procedures.
