<p>Title I Campus-Instructional Classroom Aide</p> <p>JOB STATUS: OPEN POSTING DATE: 06/05/2025 CLOSING DATE: 06/18/2025 04:00 PM POSTING NUMBER: 050111 LOCATION: Bartlett Elementary - 137 POSITION TITLE: Title I Campus-Instructional Classroom Aide</p> <p>JOB DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>This supplemental position has been approved for the upcoming school year. This position is 100% funded under the ESSA Title I, Part A program and will require time and effort in the form of biannual certification. In the absence of Title I, Part A funds and/or the needs of the district, continuation of this position can be rescinded.</p> <p>Assist teacher in preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Work under supervision of certified teacher.</p> <p>DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>The Instructional Classroom Aide must spend 90-95% of their day fulfilling the responsibilities defined in the job description or other duties as assigned as related to meeting the intent and purpose of Title I, Part A per TEA guidance.</p> <ul> <li>Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays. </li><li>Assist with administration of scoring of objective testing instruments or work assignments. </li><li>Help maintain neat and orderly classroom. </li><li>Help with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment. </li><li>Help teacher keep administrative records and prepare required reports. </li><li>Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers. </li><li>Conduct instructional exercises assigned by the teacher; work with individual students or small groups. </li><li>Help supervise students throughout the school day, inside and outside the classroom. This includes lunchroom, bus, and playground duty. </li><li>Keep teacher informed of special needs or problems of individual students. </li><li>Participate in staff development training programs to improve job performance. </li><li>Participate in faculty meetings and special events as assigned. </li><li>Maintains confidentiality. </li><li>Maintain regular attendance. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience with children or learning environment </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Education/Certification:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma/GED </li><li>Valid Texas educational aide certificate (must obtain within 30 days of employment) </li></ul> <p>Special Knowledge/Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work well with children </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively </li></ul> <p>CONTACT INFORMATION:</p> <p>Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environment Factors: Maintain emotional control under stress.
