<p>We are seeking a Civil Engineer with a strong background in site design and land development to join our Milwaukee-based team. This role focuses on the planning and design of commercial, industrial, and/or residential site projects, including grading, utilities, stormwater management, and permitting. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable collaborating with internal teams, clients, and municipalities.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design and prepare site development plans, including grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and erosion control </li><li>Develop stormwater management systems in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations </li><li>Prepare construction documents, technical specifications, and permit submittals </li><li>Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, architects, and other engineering disciplines </li><li>Communicate with municipal agencies and regulatory authorities throughout the permitting process </li><li>Support project execution from concept through construction, including responding to RFIs and assisting with construction administration </li><li>Ensure designs comply with Wisconsin DOT, DNR, local municipal standards, and industry best practices </li><li>Manage multiple projects while meeting schedules, budgets, and quality standards </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field </li><li>2-8+ years of experience in site design / land development (level flexible based on role) </li><li>EIT required; PE license preferred or ability to obtain in Wisconsin </li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D </li><li>Strong knowledge of grading, stormwater, utilities, and site layout design </li><li>Experience working with local municipalities and permitting agencies in Wisconsin preferred </li><li>Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $28.85/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
